What is this program? - FAQ

We like to think of the adventure team as a fusion of Crunchlabs meets the great outdoors! Adventure team members will take on creative challenges and adventures designed specifically to draw on the creative and curious strengths of those with ADHD while helping team members through some of the difficulties and struggles of having a Ferrari brain with bicycle brakes.

Examples of potential projects and adventures:

Session Time Breakdown:

We spend half an hour each session working on academic performance as a team and then move to the next hour of the creative, adventure based portion of the week.

The team will be presented with a unique challenge that they will then have to come together to overcome.

Example Adventure: "Your team, should you choose to accept this mission, will have to build a boat together capable of navigating the Mighty Putah Creek Nexus Route which many have tried, but few have succeeded! The twist! This boat must be pedal or paddle powered and your team must all complete the challenge. Whether you choose to build one craft as a team or individual crafts is up to you! Throughout the challenge you will be provided with more secret clues about the exact nature of your mission. Good luck adventure team!"

The team will embark on a mission full of sidequests, experimentation, creativity and challenges all curated and designed to provide moments and opportunities to work directly with ADHD challenges and strengths. Team members will learn skills, tips and tricks throughout such as but not limited to:
